Chicory coffee has been around for years, but many people are just discovering this phenomenon.
Personally, I've been drinking it for around a decade (I feel old!) and would periodically tell my friends about it (who, coincidentally, know everything about it now).
Interestingly, I found that even when I did tell people about it, their main question wasn't "what does it taste like?". Instead, they'd ask "where can I buy it?".
It was after the fifth person asked me this that I knew I had to inform you lovely people of the internet.
So, let's get started, shall we?
Where Can You Buy Chicory Coffee?
In all honesty, you can find chicory coffee in most big supermarkets — you just have to look!
However, I won't deny that it is easier to bag yourself chicory coffee online and have it delivered to yourself. Plus, it's almost always cheaper online. Sigh, oh the wonders of the digital world!
1. Honey Colony
I figured I should start with my number one go-to shop called Honey Colony.
This online place of peace, tranquillity and holistic healing, is the mother of all wellness stores.
Seriously, I get so many products from these guys! Some of my personal faves:

My favorite chicory coffee from Honey Colony is the Rasa Adaptogenic Herbal Koffee Alternative. Their slogan "Like Coffee, But Better" couldn't be more true!
I always start my day with a nice brew of Rasa Koffee since it gives me all the benefits of drinking regular coffee, without the signature jitters, raised stress levels and inevitable crash.
Okay, I'm very sorry, I'll stop gushing now! But seriously, check them out for not only your chicory coffee fix, but also your health and wellness necessities.
2. Amazon
Yep, Amazon. The big-wig, online company that sells everything. Let's be real — did you really think they wouldn't sell chicory coffee?
You will find a whole selection of chicory coffee brands available to purchase on Amazon. Some of the brands I've tried and loved are:

3. THRIVE MARKET
If you watch health and fitness influencers on YouTube, you've probably seen them advertise Thrive Market before.
It's an online grocery store that lets you buy a whole range of healthy products and have them shipped to you. Which is great for people who don't live near a Whole Foods, Trader Joes or other healthy grocery stores.
I've been a member for a while, and every now and then I'll grab their Vanilla Nut Chicory Coffee from Teeccino. It's a medium roast so it's not overly powerful. Plus its sweetened wit organic dates and vanilla extract, no added sugar!
4. NUTS.COM
A lot of people don't know it (I only found out a while ago), but you can actually buy plain chicory from Nuts.com!
Keep in mind though, that this is pure chicory, so no added ingredients for flavor. If you want to drink this, you'll need to pack it with flavor yourself (check out my chicory coffee recipes for ideas).
The good thing though, is since you're just essentially paying for chicory, the price is great. Depending on how much you buy, you can get it for as low as $6.99/lb.
5. Real Foods
Real Foods is an online natural, ethical and all-round healthy food shop. They sell everything from drinks to vegetables, beauty to confectionery and essential baby products to superfoods. Basically, you can give your body a good detox from the wide range of wellness tools and foods they offer.
The best chicory coffee I've bought from here is honestly the instant one by Prewetts. It's organic and contains nothing more than chicory root but somehow, it tastes pretty good. Not to mention that the instant brew saves me a bunch of time if I'm in a rush.
6. Holland and Barrett
For my friends in the UK, here's another option for you.
Much like the Real Foods store that I just mentioned, Holland and Barrett sell all the wellness products you could possibly imagine. Included in their selection is, of course, chicory coffee.
Again, Prewetts takes the cake for its ability to save me time but, you can find way more brands on their website.
7. Health Food Stores
If you're reading this and thinking to yourself, "I need my coffee now!", don't worry. You can buy chicory coffee at most health food stores. I've seen it in Whole Foods, Trader Joes and even chains like Wegman's.
I definitely recommend buying online instead though. Not only do you have more options to choose from, but the prices are lower and you can save yourself a trip to the grocery store.
